Great Canadian Ultimate Game - July 8
Join ultimate players from across Canada on July 17th to play in a 24-hr nation-wide relay! The Great Canadian Ultimate Game will be the biggest game ever!
It will be a single ultimate game from coast-to-coast, passing the score from community to community every hour. 24 hours, 24 communities, for one big game! A big win for ultimate, and a big win for two charities – Right to Play and Boys & Girls Clubs.
On each field, in each location, the game is Red vs White. The Red Team is raising funds for Right to Play; the White Team is raising funds for Boys & Girls Clubs. The winning team will take 60% of the total funds for its charity.
Locally, in Vancouver, our game time is 10-11 pm. The VUL will field 30 players (15 aside, 4-3 gender ratio). Sign up via the Calendar. In the event of more than 30 people signing up, the top 30 fundraisers will take to the field.
Spirit Winners for May - July 8
The VUL places great emphasis on Spirit of the Game. When teams play with spirit, it helps ensure everyone has as much fun as possible every night. A culture of spirit also allows the VUL to run 800 games every month without a single official. We'd like to thank all captains and players for promoting and playing with spirit.
The following teams received the highest spirit rating for their night of play in May. Each winner will receive a pony keg from R&B Brewing!

• Wednesday: Hammertime, runner-up TJ's Hookers
• Thursday: How I Hucked Your Mother, runner-up Ultimate Beast Infection
